If you are habitual of morning exercises, you can tell that hundreds of fitness enthusiasts kick start their days with a morning workout. In the park, you can see countless people exercising.
While all of them have the same goal of shaping their bodies, the mode of exercise differs depending on the individual. In other words, some prefer a brisk walk before dawn, while others opt for running. On the other hand, you can also see other fitness enthusiasts lifting heavy equipment.
Looking at these fitness enthusiasts, you may ask yourself: What is the preferred mode of exercise? Is it running? Or are you helping yourself through brisk walks? Well, it turns out that there is no exact mode of exercise that is precisely preferable to others – and there are numerous reasons for that.
To begin with, people have different objectives in mind that drive them to come out of bed and kick off their days with morning exercise. During his usual morning walks with his wife in a park in Florida, a ‘seemingly’ fat man came across a woman in her 70s. To the surprise of this man, this woman was running ruthlessly.
The man looked down to his belly and aching ankle and wondered to himself: “Can I be better off running like a woman?” While he was lost in his imagination, his wife approached him and asked why he stopped during the morning walk.
Husband: I caught the sight of an old woman who was running like she was in her 20s.
Wife: Grins and nods.
Husband: Can I run like that 70-year-young woman?
Wife: (Laughing hysterically) You better look at your current physical condition,
As it turned out, the man was suffering from obesity, ankle fracture, and numerous other diseases. Practically, he could not run like the woman who just crossed him running speedily. So, the question is: What is the best mode of exercise?
What is the Better Mode of Exercise?
If you are a fitness enthusiast, like this seemingly fat man, you need to ensure that you are not in competition with anybody. You have got your own goals. Regardless of your age and current physical health, you do not have to compare yourself with others.
So, if your primary goal is to burn calories, running is definitely the preferred option. But if your body can not stand ruthless running, do not panic. You are better off with brisk walks.
On the other hand, if your prime objective is to stay healthy and fit, stick with your morning walks. If you are consistently walking at a brisk pace, the perseverance will pay off sooner or later, and the results will be evident!
